Responsibility of Care and Developing Autonomy During Transition – February 7, 2024

During this symposium, Dr. Dina Moubayed (CHUSJ) and Mr. Dominic Chartrand (nurse, CHUM) defined the transition of care, its issues and impacts, presented the peculiarities of adolescence in the context of chronic illness, and finally identified recommendations and advice to prepare for the transition.



Introduction to Epilepsy – April 10, 2024

This symposium, presented by Drs. Aris Hadjinicolaou (CHUSJ) and Samuel Lapalme-Remis (CHUM), covers an introduction to epilepsy. It includes the presentation of the definition of epilepsy, seizure classification, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, epilepsy comorbidities, and driving license.



Introduction to Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) and Dravet Syndrome

This 4th TÉCUM Symposium introduces Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) and Dravet Syndrome, presented by Dr. Kenneth Myers from Children's Hospital and Dr. Philippe Major from CHU Sainte-Justine.
